From requirement to delivery: your custom BMS in months days with the configurable platform from Anori.

Escape the BMS dilemma.

Off-the-shelf BMS

Off-the-shelf systems are too rigid. New cell chemistries, voltages or interfaces quickly run into hard limits.

Custom BMS

Custom development, whether outsourced or built in-house, is slow, expensive and ties up exactly the engineers you need for your core product.

Anori BMS

A standardised hardware platform, configured in software. A new chemistry needs a new parameter set, not new code.

Pick the modules for your use case.

Anori works with a modular system. Depending on the cell chemistry, voltage, current and so on that you need, we assemble the BMS that fits your use case automatically.

“After talking to more than 60 European battery manufacturers, we heard the same thing again and again: they have to turn down customer orders because they know they would not get a suitable BMS fast enough. Our modular BMS platform changes that. We deliver an adapted BMS in days.”

Common approach

Safety and certification are only tackled at the end of the project – where every finding is expensive and delays market entry.

Anori approach

Individual modules are pre-qualified against common standards, and pre-compliance testing is part of our roadmap. That makes certifying the overall system considerably easier.

Anori BMS, faster to market: 6 instead of 12 months

Pre-configured default values speed up requirements analysis. Modular components enable fast prototyping. Pre-qualified modules reduce the effort for validation and certification.

Instead of starting from zero, you start with a proven, test-ready platform and adapt it to your pack.

One platform, every application

The same Anori hardware, configured for different chemistries, voltages and load profiles. Our BMS suits marine, off-grid storage, robotics, LEV and drones.

Frequently asked

Your questions. Our answers.

A battery consists of many individual cells. To turn them into a safe, long-lasting product, it needs a battery management system, BMS for short. The BMS is the electronic brain of the battery: it monitors every single cell, controls charging and discharging and shuts down before anything happens. Without a BMS there is no battery you are allowed to sell.

The problem: every battery is built differently, so every BMS has to be different too. Until now manufacturers had only two options. Either buy a standard product that does not really fit. Or have one developed, which takes months and costs a six-figure sum.

Anori Tech offers a third way: with us the BMS is configured instead of developed. You tell us which cells you use and which voltage and currents you need. We set our platform up in software to match exactly that. The quote comes within 24 hours, the prototype in 10 days.

Today the market sits at two extremes. On one side off-the-shelf BMS that you have to take as they are. On the other, development service providers who spend months building something new and bill accordingly.

Anori sits in between and combines three things in one product: a standardised, proven hardware platform, configuration in software instead of new development, and support with certification through pre-tested modules.

A custom BMS is developed for exactly one use case and then fits it perfectly. But only that one case. Development costs a six-figure sum and takes months. At very high volumes that spreads across many units and pays off. At small and medium series it never does.

That is exactly where we come in. Our platform is modular, so we deliver a tailored BMS even when you only build a few hundred units.

The second difference is how you get there. Instead of long phone calls and emails back and forth, you go through the configurator and know afterwards what you get and what it costs.

The third difference is what happens afterwards. The operating data of your batteries comes together in the Anori Cloud. You see how your packs are actually used in the field and can learn from it for the next generation, right down to the choice of cell chemistry.

Our focus is currently on the low-voltage range with 12 V, 24 V and 48 V up to 250 A. That is where the product is available today. At the same time we are already working on opening the platform up to high voltage, because the architecture was laid out to scale across voltages from the start. If you are planning a high-voltage project, talk to us.

Three developments are coming together:

  1. Regulation is tightening. The EU Battery Regulation (2023/1542) significantly raises the requirements for documentation, data and life cycle.
  2. The range of applications is growing. Drones, robotics, marine, LEV and off-grid storage place very different demands on the same component.
  3. Europe wants to become more independent. Asian standard BMS are neither certified in Europe nor adaptable.

A rigid BMS cannot respond to any of these three points. A configurable one can.
